20/20 Vision Update and the 2016 Visual Media Strategy Forum
We have reached a significant milestone in the 20/20 Vision that is quite exciting. As you know all of the 20/20 Vision people groups have been adopted by at least one partner, some have more than one partner who is committed to seeing an indigenous gospel presentation produced. But as we know it often takes several partners working together to see these productions completed. The “new milestone” I want to share with you is that there are now only 79 of these adopted groups who have yet to see the production process started. All of the other groups have either a newly produced gospel presentation or are in the production process. We are believing that this number will shrink to “0” by the end of the year 2020!
We are very encouraged by the progress we have made towards the 20/20 Vision, but we need to see more partnerships developed in order to see these 79 new productions started before the end of the year 2020. This will be the main focus of next year’s “Visual Media Strategy Forum” which we will be running directly after the EMDC (Eurasian Media and Distribution Consultation) here in beautiful Chiang Mai, Thailand. The VMSF is a gathering of media practitioners with a heart for missions, for prayer and strategic planning to see new gospel media produced for the world’s least reached peoples. Create International and the Visual Story Network are thrilled to be hosting this very significant event. We believe that these few days of focused collaboration will result in many new partnerships for bringing the knowledge of the glory of God to many who have never heard. We hope you will be praying whether or not the Lord would have you participate in this historic meeting. For more information on the VMSF and how to pre-register go to:www.global2020vision.com/vmsf
